Ushers

1. Work in teams of 2 during liturgies.

2. At least one should arrive 15 minutes before liturgy begins.

3. Wear “Usher” badges when acting as usher, so that you stand out if congregation has questions. These are found in the closet in the Baptistry.

4. Act as greeters as congregation enters the church- pay close attention to visitors and new members.

5. During special liturgies, direct people to pews.

6. Keep vestibule, choir loft, and cry room clear of unnecessary people.

7. Have 4 ushers collect offering.

8. Direct people to Communion line and act as protectors of the Eucharist.

9. Assist Altar Servers in distributing bulletins, newsletters, etc.

10. Please leave the “Usher” badges in the box in the Baptistry.
